TekLinks Data Center Completes SAS 70 Status Birmingham, AL- January 29, 2007 TekLinks announces that it has successfully completed a SAS 70 audit of its Data Center located in Birmingham, AL. Tidwell Dewitt LLC performed the audit. The Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS 70 audit represents that a service organization has been through an indepth audit of their control activities, which generally include controls over information technology and related processes. SAS 70 audits protect clients by examining and documenting internal controls within a third party organization to verify the integrity and security of the client's data. Another improvement to be made over the next month is the addition of a Liebert 225 kVA parallel UPS system providing redundant UPS power to each hosting rack.
